Our Story
Xsilence® Led Headlights was founded in 2022 by John Smith, a lifelong auto enthusiast and engineer. John grew frustrated with the lack of quality LED headlight options on the market. He dreamed of creating a brand that combined top-of-the-line technology, exceptional craftsmanship, and stunning visual design.
After months of research and development, John launched Xsilence® in his hometown garage. Our first product was the X1, an LED headlight bulb that produced a stunning 16,000 lumens of light. Word spread quickly among car modding communities about the superiority of the Xsilence® bulb.
We soon outgrew the garage and moved into a small warehouse. As demand increased, we rapidly expanded our product catalog to include projector lenses, halo rings, and other lighting accessories. Within our first year, Xsilence® became one of the top sellers of LED bulbs and lighting kits for the automotive aftermarket.
Today, Xsilence® Led Headlights operates out of a 20,000 square foot facility. Our team has grown to over 50 employees. Our bulbs and kits are now sold through retailers worldwide and have been installed in over 100,000 vehicles.
Yet, our focus remains the same – create the most innovative lighting products that make a vehicle stand out on the road. We won’t rest until we’ve reinvented how drivers and enthusiasts see and experience automotive lighting.

John Smith, Founder and CEO
John’s lifelong car obsession and engineering background led him to create Xsilence®. He firmly believes advanced lighting can make driving safer and more enjoyable. Under his leadership, Xsilence® has grown from a small hobby into one of the most recognizable LED automotive lighting brands.
Sarah Davis, COO
With an MBA from Wharton and background at an automotive parts supplier, Sarah keeps operations running smoothly across the company. She’s implemented lean processes that improve product quality while controlling costs. Sarah also oversees global supply chain logistics.
Mark Johnson, CTO
Mark heads up our industry-leading R&D division. He earned his Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Stanford. Mark is an innovative thinker who has developed most of the patented technologies we use in our bulbs and lenses. He ensures our products remain cutting-edge.
Jessica Lee, CMO
Jessica oversees marketing, building brand recognition, forming partnerships, and spearheading promotions. She has doubled sales every year since joining Xsilence® thanks to her data-driven approach and creative campaigns. Jessica also manages our ambassador program.

Our Automotive Heritage
Xsilence® Led Headlights was born out of founder John Smith’s lifelong passion for cars, trucks, and racing. We carry on Detroit’s heritage of automotive innovation.
Growing up, John spent weekends in his dad’s garage restoring old muscle cars. He gained hands-on experience taking apart engines, installing new components, and improving performance.
During college, John built his first LED lighting system to enter into an underground car show. The unique glowing bulbs helped him take first place! This early success made John realize the huge potential for improving stock vehicle lighting through emerging LED technology.
Prior to founding Xsilence®, John toured racing circuits across the country. He became fascinated by the extreme lighting setups used on rally cars to illuminate the road ahead. John wondered – why shouldn’t everyday drivers have access to that level of visibility?
Today, our facility houses John’s personal collection of rare vehicles spanning eras like vintage hot rods, 90s JDM imports, and modern supercars. The garage serves as inspiration, reminding us to continually raise the bar on innovating lighting products that bring out the full potential of these automotive works of art.
